Linux Part 4: ECLIPSE for SAP CPI and Salesforce Java Adapter Scenarios

Hi dears,

This is the part 1 of the Main Linux Agenda to become a SAP Consultant expert enjoying Linux features in our machines or laptops.

Context: for SAP consultants this is an important topic, we agree that Eclipse is an important to for projects that require to install ECLIPSE to be able to implement SAP Cloud Platform Integration and Salesforce Java Adapter Solutions. So here we are going to show the main issue that we have as consultants when we want to decide wich version of eclipse we would like to install. So this version works perfectly for both scenarios…

Note: there are notes that show us the trend to not use Eclipse, because the solutions let us implement now a days and more in the future via Cloud. But we can use eclipse for that reason this still a great topic…

ECLIPSE

Here i will be more simple, because there are a lot of tutorials that show us how to install ecplise, but my main recommendation is the following release and distribution of eclipse, because this is one of the big issues when we look for the version that we need to use.

Even the second tips is that this will help you if you are going to work with the Java Adapter to extract all the Rest Metadata from Salesforce.
