Has there ever been a time in living memory when businesses have been under greater pressure to have a tight grip of their business plans – and rapidly react to the barrage of seismic changes affecting all our businesses? Not only do organisations need a robust business plan, but also…
- the ability to have real-time visibility of key performance measures and the underlying drivers behind those metrics
- the capability to rapidly assess and simulate the impact of key and critical business decisions prior to execution
- A holistic plan that connects the strategic plan with contributing the supporting financial, sales, headcount, supply chain, capex and other plans that are pivotal to end-to-end execution
Many organisations are finding that the traditional planning models and processes that have to date served them well simply aren’t sufficiently agile or flexible to meet current demands. At SAP we recognize this challenge and in recent years have made some fundamental changes and developments to our planning solutions to meet the new reality. Whether you are seeking to implement a planning solution for the first time, or you are already an SAP customer using one of our existing planning solutions (such as BPC), this 3-part webinar series has been designed to take you through our current thinking, approach and solutions.
Webinar 1: Focuses on the SAP roadmap and statement of direction for BPC & SAC. A lot has changed in recent years and the priority of this session is to provide clarity on the key changes, recommended direction and migration paths for SAP customers.
Webinar 2: The primary go-forward solution for Planning from SAP is SAP Analytics Cloud. This 2nd session will be slightly longer and will be a deep dive (90 mins) into SAC Planning – mostly via live demonstration of common planning scenarios (strategic planning, financial planning, headcount planning etc.). This session is targeted at people who wish to get a really good look at SAC Planning.
Webinar 3: I’m delighted to welcome a guest speaker Robert Weller. Robert is Head of People Analytics & Planning at SAP and will do a case study (60 mins) as to how SAP ourselves use SAP Analytics Cloud internally for headcount, people and salary planning and analytics. He will also show how we link people plans with our financial plans to provide 11,000+ people managers globally across SAP with 360 degree view of their teams performance, costs, feedback, training and much more (sourcing data from Success Factors, Fieldglass, Qualtrics and S4 into a unified performance cockpit).
“SAP Analytics Cloud for planning lets us see real-time connections, allowing us streamline our processes to focus on quality of the data and our customers’ needs. With this solution, we were able to tremendously reduce time delivering figures to our finance teams by 40-60%.”
Richard Masci, Head of Financial System Services and Compliance at Airbus Americas
