The 1H 2023 release has arrived and will soon go into production the weekend of June 2. With this release, for SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals we continue to enhance the goal management experience and performance form user experience as well as begin to adopt the talent intelligence hub. For SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development, we introduce new mentoring capabilities within our mobile application and the initial adoption of the talent intelligence hub. SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals
We are continuing our focus on reimagining the goal management user experience. In this release, we are introducing a new pre-populated goal library, which allows employees to search and select from a catalog of goals in the latest goal management experience. This empowers the individual to craft more ambitious and meaningful goals, while simplifying the entire process. In addition, with new sub-goal tables, users can now add targets and milestones to increase granularity when tracking goal execution. We are also introducing audit trails to provide greater visibility into changes made to a goal.
With adoption of the talent intelligence hub, users can view the growth portfolios of others in the organization directly from the performance form. This provides visibility into skills and other attributes to help improve performance and role-readiness-based decisions. In addition, a new integration with Microsoft Teams allows users to give, request, and view feedback directly from a Microsoft Teams message ensuring every day work is connected to critical talent processes.
We have enhanced the performance form user experience improving the overall usability, and look and feel of the form. The Horizon visual theme has been applied to the form experience in addition to improvements that have been suggested by customers – such as page anchoring after performing actions on the form, repositioning of the goals tab for easier access as well as adjusted typography. Keep your eye out on this one as more enhancements are planned for the 2H 2023 release.
In addition, employees can now control visibility of feedback when they move to a new manager, ensuring alignment to an organization’s data privacy and protection needs. This empowers employees to make decisions on what feedback they want to expose to an incoming manager. This enhancement will be supported for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) customers in this 1H 2023 release and is planned for non-EC customers for the 2H 2023 release.
SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development
We are pleased to introduce support for mentoring capabilities within our mobile application, enabling employees to browse, signup, store match-preferences, and connect with mentors directly. With the new Microsoft Teams integration, mentors and mentees can quickly connect by initiating a chat directly from the employee quick card.
Additionally, skills and competencies from the talent intelligence hub can be used within the development goal plan and mentoring application. This enables organizations to implement an effective skills-driven workforce development strategy and helps employees to better connect with potential mentors.
As shared for performance goals, audit trails are introduced for development goals as well to provide evidence of who made changes and allows a user to see what changes were made to a development goal.
