Batch Derivation Concept in Process Manufacturing
This Batch Derivation Process that enables you to do the following for Batch Master data and Classification data to be derived from the Component Batches to the Produced batches:
Transfer
Display for selection

The following basic rules apply:
Component Batches may send Batch data.
Produced Batches may receive Batch data
In this below Example, the terms Sender Batch is used for Component Batches and Receiver Batch is used for Produced Batches.
Configuration steps required
Activate the Batch Derivation check
Minatin the Number Ranges for the Derivation Numbers

Create the Material Master(s)
Create all the required set of Materials (FG, SFG & Raw Materials), with Batch Management Active & Classification activated

Follow the standard steps to create the BOM using the T Code : CS01, add the necessary components to the Item List of the BOM

Resource can be created using the Standard process T Code CRC1

Create the Master Recipe using the T Code: C201

Production Version is the combination of BOM & Master Recipe (T Code : C223/MM02)

Maintina the DVS1 & DVR1 settings

Create the Process Order
Crearte by using T Code: COR1 (OR) Convert the Planned Order to Process Order

With Release of the Process Order, the Batch Derivation event will get triggered( As per the config)

Check the updated Stock, with the Batch details dervied from the Component Materials

Please share your valauble Inputs/feeback/comments, for any changes req.
