Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read my blog!! My name is Angeline Gregory, and I am one of the SAP Procurement Adoption Directors for EMEA/MEE.
My blog is going to focus on an unique event hosted by SAP specifically for existing customers from the UKI and segment.
At the Brewery in London on 27th April SAP hosted their annual Customer Success Day where customers were able to network, share stories and explore the future of procurement, this year’s success day focused on sustainability. Over 60 SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass customers attended which created a real buzz in the air.
We started with a warm welcome by the SAP UKI Regional Vice President Andrej Vaughan and SAP EMEA North General Manager Jacques Theron, both leaders emphasised the growing importance of sustainable procurement.
It was also great to hear from customers, Smith & Nephew presented their new integrated chatbot, Britvic and Deloitte’s also presented success stories. SAP Product Management and SAP Solution Advisory presented the ‘Future Roadmap’ to emphasis the future direction of our solutions.
Lunch provided a very much needed opportunity to reflect on the morning, it was great to see so many customers continuing to network!! After lunch, a panel discussion was held with Britvic and Aviva, where both customers provided unique approaches to sustainable procurement, diversity, and inclusion.
Breakout sessions and roundtables were next on the agenda showcasing sustainability related features and functions to support multiple strategies related to ESG, procurement and external workforce management.
I had the privilege of leading a collaborative session entitled “Sustainability Put into Action,” in partnership with my colleagues Marius Lande, Jorge Alonso and Jamie Taylor from SAP Ariba Presales. During the session, we dived into the transformative capabilities of SAP Ariba and Fieldglass solutions, showcasing how these solutions can help customers to drive sustainability through effective supplier profile management and enabling informed, sustainable procurement decisions by end users – The session received positive response from our customers, sparking numerous meaningful interactions and generating a multitude of follow-up requests.
Thank you to customers for making the day successful and thank you all for reading the blog.
As the attendees savoured an afternoon tea, James Marland, Global VP and COE for SAP Spend Management, delivered closing remarks, expressing gratitude as he summarized the day’s highlights through a captivating sketch.
The SAP UKI Ariba Customer Success Day was a success allowing industry leaders to network and discuss procurement’s future. Attendees left inspired and committed to sustainable practices.
A special thanks to the SAP UKI’s marketing team for organizing the event.
